No último domingo de agosto a paróquia de Machico celebra a festa do Santíssimo Sacramento que tem a particularidade dos fachos que são acesos na noite da véspera da festa, neste ano no sábado 26 de agosto às 21h30. Nesse dia às 20 horas será celebrada a missa da vigília da festa e às 22 horas haverá fogo de artifício.
