I always wanted to go to Lithuania, but didn't want to go without knowing someone there, or someone who spoke the language. I've been saving up for travel, and would like to stop at Lithuania so I can see the place where one of my ancestors came from. I'm also mixed with Black and other races, but my dad's father was a ww2 refugee from Lithuania. Looks like Lithuanians are about midway between Russians and Northwestern European groups in terms of genetic similarities. They're nearly identical to Belarusians and Estonians, which makes sense. ex. Finnish. From genetic maps, Lithuanians appear to be very closely related to Finns.
