Soesterberg. /  52.11944°N 5.28306°E  / 52.11944; 5.28306. Soesterberg is a town in the Dutch province of Utrecht. It is a part of the municipality of Soest, and lies about 5 km northeast of Zeist, on the road between Amersfoort and Utrecht. It was the location of Soesterberg Air Base. The 32nd TFS came to the Netherlands (Soesterberg AB) in the early 50's. Soesterberg AB was under Royal Netherlands Air Force control, therefore the 32nd TFS was the only American Squadron that was under the command of a foreign nation.
