Here is a good walk that will take you through Ring of Gullion AONB to Slieve Gullion. There are alternative walks from the same starting point although they are longer and more arduous. This one does a solid job of still giving you a good workout, climbing the initial hill and it fits the description of a moderate hike. You will have great views throughout of the green hills and valleys. This is a relatively short and easy trail, taking you up Slieve Gullion. The path is straightforward and well defined throughout. At the top, you're greeted with beautiful views in all directions before heading back the same way.
