Trailforks - Mount Fromme Trails & Map; Trailforks - Mount Seymour Trails & Map; Trail Map Evolution. Initially the NSMBA and the local riding community debated the idea of producing an updated trail map. These debates have been ongoing for a long time. It was, and still is, a contentious issue. Many opponents of this idea have stated that Mount Fromme is located just east of Grouse Mountain and is much less traveled than many of the other North Shore hiking trails. There are some views from the top of the backcountry mountains but the city views are blocked by trees. However, the hike is very enjoyable as it follows the St. Georges and Peer Gynt trails, briefly passing along the Mountain Highway Details. Mountain Highway is the main access to almost all the trails on Mount Fromme. It is a gravel road past the yellow gate. The steepness is a nice grade and even heavy downhill bikes can ride up with a bit of work.
