The film is about Vettikadu Sivan, a young, intelligent man who sets out on a mission to settle a score and give a peace of De Ingottu Nokkiye has been completed and is set for release next week. Balachandra Menon, who in the 1980s and early 1990s had been one of the favourite directors with the family audience, hopes to reclaim cinema to some extent as something belonging more to the director than to the stars, with the director's stamp clearly on it. De Ingottu Nokkiye remains quite true to a fraction of its celebrated tagline - it's indeed an idiotic film as it claims, but sans any remote sense of intelligence and perhaps with intentions that went for a walk down the crazy lane for all I care.
