パンバ祈りの歌主swamy ayyappa寺
As Lord Ayyappa resides at Sabarimala, Vavar lives in spirit in a shrine at Erumeli, a place situated on the 40 km trek to Sabarimala temple. Vavar is said to be the protector of pilgrims going to visit Lord Ayyappa. Lord Ayyappa, it is said answers prayers of every devotee who undertakes the demanding and life-threatening pilgrimage to his shrine.
Observing a forty-one-day fasting period, known as "vratham," is an integral part of the Sabarimala pilgrimage. Devotees abstain from consuming meat, alcohol, tobacco, and engaging in any form of indulgence. The fast is believed to purify one's mind, body, and soul, allowing devotees to connect deeply with Lord Ayyappa.
Meaning - We worship Lord Shiva's son, Ayyappa. Salutations to Saastha (Ayyappa). May Ayyappa encourage our creativity. Mattha Mathanga Gamanam Karunyamrutha Pooritham Sarva Vigna Haram Devam Sastharam Pranamamyaham. Meaning - I salute Lord Ayyappa, who has an elephant's gait, who is compassionate and who destroys all obstacles.
