General Dynamics NASSCO traces its beginnings to the industrial heart of San Diego. The company's San Diego location has been designing, building and maintaining ships for the U.S. Navy and commercial customers since the 1960s and is the largest, full-service shipyard on the West Coast. The Western Territory recently notched major bargaining victories, ratifying three collective bargaining agreements with General Dynamics NASSCO in San Diego, the City of Long Beach, and Sandia National Laboratories in New Mexico.
