Windstad Manor is a homestead which can be built on land purchased from the Jarl of Hjaalmarch in The Elder Scrolls V: Hearthfire. Windstad Manor sits on the lightly forested banks at the delta of the Karth and Hjaal Rivers, in northern Hjaalmarch, close to the western border of The Pale. To the west is the imposing sight of the arch of Skyrim's capital and capital of Haafingar Hold, Solitude Hjaalmarch is one of the nine Holds of Skyrim. Its capital is Morthal. It is one of the smallest Holds. The Hjaal River runs through a large portion of this Hold. Their coat of arms is of a triskele. Hjaalmarch is located in northern Skyrim, at the mouth of the Karth River. The capital, Morthal, lies near the center of the hold.
