There are two outlet malls in Barstow and this is the newer and obviously more successful of the two. The original Barstow Outlets across the street is probably 75% empty and very creepy. I felt sorry for the stores that are left in that mall. The Tanger Outlets have mostly upscale outlets like Rockport, Liz Claiborne, Nautica and such. Since we were at the Outlet Mall in Barstow, this was the perfect location to go shopping. The Outlet Mall is located of Interstate 15 just prior to entering Barstow. The mall located on Tanger Way consist of 34 retail stores, a small Food Court, and the California Welcome Center. Outlets at Barstow in Barstow, CA has 36 stores.
