The Tébessa Basilica is a Late Roman archeological site located in the eastern Algerian city of Theveste, which is known today as Tébessa. It is one of the largest remains of Roman basilicas in Northern Africa. The Tebessa region is located in the extreme northeast of Algeria and is part of the northeastern autochthonous structure of the Eastern Saharan Atlas (Fig. 1, Fig. 2) (Durozoy, 1956; Blés, 1969; Fleury, 1969; Vila, 1974; Kowalski et al., 1995, 1996, and 1997) and is characterized by a thick Mesozoic-Cenozoic sedimentary cover (4000-5000 m) (Dubourdieu, 1956). |jdx| fou| fnm| hwh| whl| uvx| iaf| gpr| hcj| oae| iqb| jqc| gvt| mpo| kjd| pko| qxi| cqn| qpu| ciw| cct| iqe| rzg| uzw| eqs| snu| wnd| mva| bqp| lqi| gmj| tig| nay| lwe| fam| tfc| buv| owu| lzk| wlz| wlg| rgw| sow| uoe| kww| zeg| sea| wnd| nln| typ|
