Beaumaris Castle is a historic castle located on the Isle of Anglesey in North Wales. The castle dates back to the 13th and 14th centuries and along with Conwy, Caernarfon, Harlech Castles, is considered a prime example of 13th and 14th century military architecture in Europe and is part of the Castles and Town Walls of King Edward in Gwynedd Walk Highlights. A short walk that takes you through the Beaumaris countryside and then finishes with breahtaking views of Beaumaris Castle and the Menai Straits. This walk is fantastic to recharge the batteries at the end of the day.
