Alice joined ILAP as a Staff Attorney in the Lewiston office in April 2018. Prior to that, she was an associate at the immigration law firm of Landis, Arn, & Jaynes, P.A. Alice has also served as a law clerk for the Department of Justice, Executive Office for Immigration Review, at the Boston Immigration Court, and as a law clerk to the Hon Alice Lougee Hagemeyer, '57, a longtime advocate for equal access to library services for the deaf community, is Gallaudet's Visionary Leader for January. Hagemeyer worked for the District of Columbia Public Library (DCPL) from the time she graduated from Gallaudet until 1991-the last 15 years as librarian for the deaf community.
