The study area is the Tandilia System in the Southern Pampa region of Argentina (38°010-36°540S, 60°140-57°320 W) located in the biome of temperate grasslands, savannas and shrublands of South America (Fig. 1).This System forms an arc of discontinuous elevation of approximately 1,400,000 ha, and is mainly composed of six districts: Azul, Balcarce, General Pueyrredon, Lobería, Tandil Esta ruta parte del monumento del Cristo de las Sierras en la ciudad de Tandil y se adentra luego en La Reserva Natural Sierra del Tigre, para regresar al mismo punto luego de recorrerla. Esta hermosa reserva fue creada con el objetivo de preservar el ecosistema del sistema de sierras de Tandilia.
