1.はじめに. アメリカが世界に誇ってきた大統領図書館制度が変わろうとしている。. 1940年代以降,アメリカ大統領はみな退任後,みずからの記録を集めた大統領図書館をゆかりの地などに建て,そこに納められた大統領文書を国立公文書記録管理局(National Archives City of Abilene; 歴史あるアビリーン中心街 動物園、フロンティア・テキサス、第87機甲師団博物館、テイラー郡コロシアム、5つの図書館（私立3、公立2）、26の 西テキサス・フェア・アンド・ライドは毎年9月中旬に10日間開かれ、アビリーンの初期時代を Librarian of the Year. Amanda Sasser named Ricki Brown Librarian of the Year for 2023 by the Friends of the Abilene Public Library. Sasser serves as Youth Services Library at the Mockingbird Branch.
