Aker Solutions UK country manager Sian Lloyd Rees said yesterday that the £8 million spent on the company's rejuvenated subsea facility will help "build a world class service capability" in Energy services and technology group Aker Solutions is to recruit 200 people as it looks to bolster its UK workforce by a quarter. The Norway-headquartered firm, which has a major base in Aberdeen Aker Solutions has agreed terms on the offices at approximately £7.74 million per annum, equating to a headline rent of £23.75 per sq ft. The new development, expected to complete by February 2015, is designed to accommodate up to 2,400 people.
