HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Julie Eplion, 24, of Huntington, was sentenced today to 27 months in prison by United States District Judge Robert C. Chambers for distribution of oxycodone. Eplion admitted that on August 19, 2009, she sold 93 80-milligram oxycodone and 14 40-milligram oxycodone pills to a confidential informant working with the West Richard Lee Eplion, Jr., 63, of Huntington, WV, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2019, in St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 am Saturday at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Doug Spurlock officiating.
