Obituary. AUSTINTOWN - Dinah M. Fedyna, M.D., 62, local area physician and educator, passed away early Sunday morning, Feb. 7, 2021, at her home following a strong and courageous battle with ALS. Dinah was born April 20, 1958, in Youngstown, and was a daughter of the late Metro Fedyna, a former City of Youngstown police detective, and Ann Dinah Fedyna, MD, split her time between practicing family medicine and teaching ever since graduating from medical school in the early '80s.
