Solution. #7. 1)the cloning software will alow you to select which of the drives ( in your case C of course) to clone. 2)it's already set to ahci as you said above. power off, plug the ssd, your current windows will recognize it - will probaly ask for a restart, use the cloning software to clone the C drive to the ssd, when all Start the Kingston SSD clone software - AOMEI Partition Assistant. Click "Clone Disk" in the right menu. Step 2. Select one of the disk copy methods to copy HDD, "Clone Disk Quickly" or "Sector-by-Sector Clone", hit "Next". Step 3. Select your original hard drive (HDD) as the source disk to clone, hit "Next" to continue.
