The Fury. Brian De Palma's "The Fury" is a stylish entertainment, fast-paced, and acted with great energy. I'm not quite sure it makes a lot of sense, but that's the sort of criticism you only make after it's over. During the movie, too much else is happening. It's about two teenagers with paranormal powers. In the early 1970s, Brian De Palma emerged first as an indie director. De Palma began to gain a name after he turned towards genre filmmaking with the psycho-thriller Sisters (1973) and the genre parody The Phantom of the Paradise (1974).
