Zihark is a mercenary from Daein, specializing in swordplay. Zihark and a female beast laguz (it's not a tiger, so that leaves cat and lion as options) fell in love in the past, but the stresses of forbidden love proved to be too much for her, and the relationship fell apart. Zihark still carries a torch for her. Zihark is much better than Mia, actually being able to damage and kill enemies, if only at melee range. He also stacks up favourably against recent recruit Nephenee, joining part way through the same chapter and instantly being useful without stack loads of resources being pumped into him. For Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance on the GameCube, Unit Seriously though she's actually all right and innate shade is pretty handy. I used her and Zihark supported with each other on my first ever playthrough back when I was like 14 or 15 and they tore shit up.
