Oxford police have released more details about a Wednesday evening homicide. Capt. L.G. Owens said Deandre Collins Varner, 33, has been charged with murder in the death of his wife, Teneshia Teneshia Varner was leaving her husband when she was stabbed to death Aug. 12 in her Beck Road home near Bynum, her mother, Marilyn Collie said Thursday by phone.
