An evening of exceptional entertainment took place recently as boxers from the Royal Navy and Army went toe-to-toe at the HMS Sultan Boxing Show. This is an annual event which sees novice fighters from HMS Sultan and HMS Collingwood compete and raise money for The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity. This year guest boxers from the Royal HMS Sultan boxing show is a knockout in a triumphant return. AB Thomson from HMS Collingwood, and ETME Harvey from HMS Sultan, exchanged punches as they fought for the reigning title. ET ME Harvey was crowned the winner after a close call between the two, and he was named Best Boxer of the night. Sultan Boxing Squad Coach, Leading Physical Training Instructor Joel Kirby said: "They put all the hard work in during the weeks leading up to the competition and performed well under the pressure of fighting in front of a crowd of over 500 cheering spectators. I couldn't be prouder of our Navy boxers.
