Claines is situated in the heart of Worcestershire on the A449 between Worcester and Kidderminster. It has a church which dates from the 10th Century. Sir George Aston Webb restored the church in 1886/87 and added the north aisle, porch and vestry in the same style. In a semi-rural setting, Claines is on the northern edge of the City of Worcester.
