BERLIN (AP) — Vienna Zoo is celebrating the birth of a rare giant panda. The baby bear was born Sunday to mother Yang Yang and father Long Hui. It's their fourth cub, after Fu Long, Fu Hu and Fu Bao. In a statement Monday, the zoo said its newest addition was just 10 centimeters (4 inches) long and weighed 100 grams (3.5 ounces) at birth. The giant panda (Ailuropoda melanoleuca), also known as the panda bear or simply panda, is a bear species endemic to China.It is characterised by its bold black-and-white coat and rotund body.
