Navsari Agricultural University (NAU) is an iconic educational and farmers welfare institute located in south Gujarat. With its headquarters located in Navsari, the university was established on May 1, 2004 through the Gujarat Agricultural University Act 2004. There are seven colleges under NAU's jurisdiction offering five bachelor's degrees, 27 master's degrees and one doctoral degree. Navsari campus had its humble beginning in 1965 with a College of Agriculture. The college was affiliated to Gujarat University, Ahmedabad from 1965 to 1968 and from 1968 to 1972 to South Gujarat University, Surat.The N.M.
