HGV medical examinations, often called D4 medicals, are comprehensive assessments designed to evaluate the physical and mental health of HGV drivers. These examinations are mandated by the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency ( DVLA ) in the UK and serve as a stringent standard to guarantee the safety of both drivers and others on the road. DVLA have advised that any D4 medical submitted will be processed as per normal.
