KauaiJim Active Member. My favorite is my conjuror with his earth pet (ancient). A very close second goes to my beastlord with her enchanted warder (primal). They are both great fun and very capable. My necro used to be fun too (probably still is but I stopped playing him a while back and the other day remade his slot into a shadowknight) but I EQ:Classes. There are sixteen classes in EverQuest. Fourteen were included at launch; two classes (the beastlord and berserker) have been added through later expansions. Five classes wear plate armor, three wear leather armor, four wear chain armor, and four wear cloth armor. Four classes are pure melee, and cannot cast any spells. This class only comes with the Shadows of Luclin expansion. The Beastlord gets a combination of attack skills and magic, as well as the skill to summon a pet to fight with him. This is one of the better solo classes in the game, but is also welcome in any group. Armor: Leather.
