The Cholla power plant is a coal-fired power station located near Joseph City, in Navajo County, Arizona, US, which has been operating since 1962. The facility was originally developed with four coal-fired units with a combined installed capacity of 1.02GW. The plant's current generating capacity, however, stands at 767MW following the Cholla Campground is a large, well maintained campground that includes 206 campsites (tent-only, single and double) with shade ramadas, fire rings with grills, picnic tables, and water hydrants.
