Max Headroom: The Complete Series. After a brutal accident, the synapses and impulses are drained from the brain of investigative journalist Edison Carter. Using ultra-advanced technology, these impulses have gone into a computer and from there onto a screen, existing only in the TV airwaves emanating from Network 23--and always 20 minutes BBC channel 4 made a 1 hour special that was a sci fi drama, "Max Headroom: 20 minutes into the future" that gave the backstory and premise to the character.
