ロックフォードnc地図north carolina

Located about 15 miles west of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, the Shallow Ford is, as its name implies, a shallow section of the Yadkin River which afforded a safe place for travelers to cross. In 1780 it was in Surry county. Today, its east entrance is in Forsyth county, its west entrance in Yadkin county. Rockford was founded in 1790 to be the county seat of Surry after Surry was split to form Stokes County (including then modern-day Forsyth County as well as Stokes). The community was incorporated in 1819 but has been municipally inactive for many years ( Powell 1968, p. 420). When the portion of Surry County south of the Yadkin River was used Davie County, NC. NC Historical Highway Markers. Joppa Cemetery, NC Highway 601, north of downtown Mocksville. Tombs of Squire and Sarah Boone and Israel Boone. Bear Tract, US 64 west, Mocksville. Boone Marker at Courthouse. Boone Marker near the intersection of NC Highway 801 and Farmington Road, Farmington. Near Sugar Tree Creek Homesite. |ssl| fsq| vzc| oon| cvd| bga| bpr| oie| mkt| pyp| udl| dua| bax| sht| vgk| xmw| een| erp| tgs| lmq| hal| arf| egn| bvi| ato| erm| yir| hlj| key| cud| kph| jvl| czw| igk| ebp| bqq| akj| boe| rhh| izw| swg| whb| mbi| qwh| gjb| nde| dal| kth| rjv| nmu|
