César Abraham Vallejo Mendoza es considerado como uno de los más grandes poetas que haya dado Latinoamérica, cuya obra es objeto de estudio en universidades a nivel mundial. Nació en Santiago de Chuco (La Libertad) el 16 de marzo de 1892. Se embarcó a Lima en 1917. En la capital trabó amistad con escritores como Clemente Palma. César Vallejo was a Peruvian poet who lived in Paris and Spain for much of his adult life. His body of work, which is deeply rooted in his European, Peruvian, and indigenous heritage, is increasingly recognized as a major contribution to global modernism.
