Ideally, in my opinion, there should be at least 750,000 people within a 2 hour drive of the host city, preferably a million or more, to be a sustainable CFL market. And of course, the biggest problem with CFL expansion within Canada, even with the most likely candidate, Halifax, is the absence of CFL worthy, 25k plus, preferably 30k plus Croix-Bleue Medavie Stadium has a rich history of hosting CFL games, it can be expanded to seat 20,000 fans, and from 2010-2019 it hosted four CFL games, all of which where regular season matches.
