Park visit. A lovely park in the centre of Aberdeen, it has an interesting Pets Corner, at a reasonable cost, extensive play parks for the kids, some good walks, and a beautiful rose garden. There is a cafe centrally, and a hut selling drinks and snacks. Funding for a new £1million play park in Aberdeen has been given approval, with work expected to start as soon as January 2024.. The project will see a large new structure located at Hazlehead Park at the site of the current play park, with funding also set to be put towards drainage improvements.. A total of £900,000 is being put towards the plans from a Scottish Government and Convention Hazlehead Park is a really nice place to go for a walk. It's well-maintained, there's a pet's corner, a golf course and rugby pitches. I always see a variety of birds on the circuit I run. There's a place to get takeaway coffees and plenty of seats.
